| Therapeutic Massage |
|
Therapeutic Massage promotes soft tissue health
by providing chronic pain relief, stress reduction, relaxation,
athlete performance maintenance, and injury prevention and
recovery. A typical table session addresses the
front and back sides of the body for a complete therapeutic
massage. Half hour sessions are normally reserved for
problem areas requiring specific attention, i.e., neck and
shoulders; a sports injury. My massage practice integrates several
therapeutic modalities to fit your needs. |

Deep Tissue Massage |
|
|
|
Deep Tissue therapy treatments integrate various
techniques such as compression, stretches, and joint mobilization
to discover deeper muscular problems. Adhesions, trigger points,
and postural distortions cause soft tissue tension, dysfunction,
and pain which may be attributed to stress, overuse, injury,
and/or illness. The goal is to restore tissue health and movement. |

Sports Massage |
|
|
|
Sports Massage therapy treatments typically focus
on muscle groups associated with the athlete's sport to aid in
optimal movement, performance, and recovery. The techniques are
also used with nonathletes on specific problem areas of the body
like the low back, upper back, and shoulders. The goal of this
therapy is to eliminate knots, adhesions, and muscular waste
products that inhibit movement for full range of motion.
|
| Relaxation Massage |
|
Relaxation therapy aids in the release of
muscular tension through gliding, kneading, and smoothing massage
strokes. The soothing massage can relieve fatigue, calm the
nervous system, and promote a sense of relaxation and renewed
energy. |

Looking for ways to
improve the wellness benefits
for your employees?
Chair massage is a portable and convenient therapy typically
done at the work site or a special event. The practitioner
massages through the client's clothes and works the neck, back,
and shoulders in about 10-15 minutes. The body/mind benefits of
chair massage relieves stress and muscle tension, promotes a
relaxed state of mental alertness, and incorporates a general
sense of well-being.
The practitioner will come to your location and set up in a
conference room or a quiet area that will allow the employee a
chance to relax and receive the full benefit of the massage.
Studies indicate that chair massage and stretch techniques will
help prevent repetitive injuries and reduce worker absenteeism.
Chair Massage enhances company wellness programs, special
events, employee of the month awards, and customer appreciation
days.
